including the RUBY FRIEDMAN ORCHESTRA, CHRIS MORRIS and ALDO DAVALOS.
RUBY FRIEDMAN has the
eyes of somebody who’s lived a little, the writing chops to make her
experiences compelling and a voice that makes it all sound larger than
life. The siren of the L.A.-based Ruby Friedman Orchestra is part damaged diva, part drama queen and all exposed nerves. You aren't going to want to miss this rock ‘n’ roll seasoned with dashes of blues, soul, country and show tunes.
Friend of Ruby and
friend of the hot tub, Mr. CHRIS MORRIS will be stopping by to play
another, as always, eclectic mix of his favorites new and old.

caught his electro dub-step set at one of the Hunnypot Summer Series
parties on the patio, but make no mistake...he has more hottness to be
dropped. ALDO DAVALOS will be stepping up to the turntables and

I HEART Inc presents
The Million Dollar Revival a benefit for Fran Drescher's Cancer
Schmancer Movement. The Million Dollar Revival will be a Los Angeles
style melting pot of the finest live music and comedy, an unholy
marriage of acts one would never imagine appearing together on the same
bill...until now. On December 13th, 2009 7pm (doors 6pm) artists from
all walks of life will combine forces for this one of a kind benefit.
Join us for an eclectic evening true to the era of old-time variety
shows at the legendary Million Dollar Theatre and help raise funding
for FranVans, a program that allows low income, uninsured women of Los
Angeles to receive free women’s cancer screening tests and follow-up
care right in their own neighborhoods.
THE LINE-UP~ Hosted by Fran Drescher with special guest
Mayor Villaraigosa, featuring Jackson Browne, The Bird and the Bee,
Olivia-Newton John, Beth Nielsen Chapman, The Whispertown2000, Chris
Pierce, Arrica Rose & the...'s, Charlotte Martin, Caitlin Crosby,
Charlyne Yi, Mortified, Stilt World and more! There will be a
VIP party held immediately after the event at 213 Nightlife's Broadway
Bar, catered by Bottega Louie, special guest DJs provided by Hunnypot.

THE CAUSE~ It is the
goal of The Million Dollar Revival to raise funds for the Cancer
Schmancer/Inner Images Fran Van Project, an invaluable endeavor that
will provide much needed medical information, cancer screening tests
and free follow-up care to women in need throughout the city of Los
Angeles. Cancer Survivor, Actress, US Diplomat and Women’s Health
Advocate Fran Drescher has dedicated her life to ensuring that all
women, rich or poor, young or old, will only be diagnosed with cancer
while in Stage 1 when it’s most curable. To this end she has begun the
Cancer Schmancer Fran Van Project. In addition to funding the Fran Van
Project, this event will also be a celebration of the rejuvenation and
revitalization of downtown L.A. |

HUNNYPOT TEAMS UP FOR THE 2010 ACCESS FILM-MUSIC SHOWCASE @ SUNDANCE, PARK CITY - UTAH
Over
fifty exceptionally talented songwriters, bands and recording artists
will perform as part of the 2010 Access Film-Music Showcase
(AccessFilmMusic.net), presenting an unprecedented 200 hours of live
music throughout Utah’s famed Film Festival Week. For 12 days, from
January 20 – 31, diverse musical talent from around the world will
present their music to the film industry at multiple venues in Park
City and at a “Sneak Peek” concert in Salt Lake City. While
some music venues in Park City during Film Festival Week require
official festival credentials, Access Film-Music events are open to the
public -- no badges required! There will be no cover charge for
most 2010 Access Film-Music Showcase performances. So, if you're
heading to Utah for the festival let us know! |
