Access Film-Music Showcase gives Moors & McCumber placement in Sundance film "Wednesday's Child"
In
September 2010, filmmaker and cinematographer X contacted our offices
about an artist they saw perform at Access Film-Music Showcase in
January 2010, Moors & McCumber. We're proud to share our
congratulations with this exceptional acoustic duo, which features
Superior, Wisconsin's James Moors and Boulder, Colorado's Kort
McCumber, who collaborated on and released their eponymous roots CD
last year.

Access Film-Music CD Samplers distributed to Film-Makers, Rock Stars and A-List Celebrities!
For our 2009 Access Film-Music Showcase, we have produced 2 CD Samplers.
One features instrumental selections by composers and recording artists
we love. The second features songs by 19 of the artists performing at
the 2009 Access Film-Music Showcase.
Through
our sponsorships with Slamdance Film Festival and Park City Television,
our CD Samplers will be distributed in the "Goodie Bags" given to each
credential-holding Slamdance Film-Festivarian and all the A-list
film-makers, actors, and rock stars being interviewed by local Sundance
Film Festival TV affiliate, Park City Television.
The
surviving members of legendary rock band The Doors are scheduled to be
interviewed on Park City Television very soon. And they will all
receive copies of Access Film-Music CD Samplers! Break on through to
the Other Side!!!

TAXI Road Rally and Billboard Film & TV Music Conference
November
5 - 15, Access Film-Music Executive Director Mike Beck will be
attending two key industry events in Los Angeles, California. TAXI's
Road Rally takes place at the Westin Hotel
November 6 – 9 and features incredible networking
opportunities, along with panels and workshops that help artists get
their music placed in films, commercials, TV programs, video games, and
more. November 13 – 14 you can find Mike at the
Billboard Film & TV Music Conference, taking place at Sofitel LA.
Mike will be networking with many of Hollywood's top music supervisors
and composers during this essential event.

Memphis Showcase in February for Folk Alliance
Executive
Director Mike Beck, and Showcase Co-Producer James Moors will be
hosting an Access Film-Music Showcase during the National Folk Alliance
Conference in Memphis, Tennessee February 18 - 22, 2009. Several Access
Artists will be performing throughout the week, and we are looking
forward to finding exciting new talent as well. Folk Alliance is one of
the most unusual and enjoyable music events anywhere -- An amazing
networking opportunity featuring a staggering number of talented
musical performers. In addition to our showcase, Mike will again be
presenting his International Touring Workshop.
